  A wonderful article came out recently on cell phone use. A Finnish study published in the International Journal of Cancer stated, “Using a cell phone regularly, even a modern one, raises the risk of developing a brain tumor for many users“. Research indicated that cell phone usage caused the risk of getting a brain tumor, called a Glioma, to rise between 40-270 percent on the side of the head where the cell phone is held. Those who used a cell phone for more than 2,000 hours in their lifetime increased their risk by 270 percent.

EMF (electromagnetic waves) are everywhere, in your home, office, car…all electronic equipment radiate them. In addition, radio stations, cell phones, and satellite communications also operate via EMF waves.

So how can you protect yourself from these invisible forces? It is important to understand that most electronics do not use much power, so the EMFs surrounding them are minimal. Electronics that do emit strong EMF waves are computers, hair dryers, heating pads, microwave ovens, and cell phones. Some common symptoms of EMF-exposure are headaches, fatigue, nausea, and eyestrain.
